The funding for this project comes from two sources, 80% Federal and 20% local, Go Transit Funds awarded to the City in 2016, by the State Road and Tollway Authority. The City was awarded $1.9M dollars of which $400,000 can be used for preliminary engineering and design.
A Selection Committee was created to evaluate the three firms that submitted proposals.
